Pearl Abyss is marking the fourth anniversary of its global direct service for Black Desert with a community-wide event, 'Lighting Up the Desert Together,' kicking off on the 17th. With the milestone date set for June 23, the studio has orchestrated a collaborative effort that invites players from every corner of the globe to join in.

From now until July 7, you can collect 'Event Desert Light' items simply by staying logged into the game. Once you’ve gathered your share, head over to the ancient device in Velia to contribute. The total rewards will be tiered based on the cumulative amount contributed by the entire player base worldwide.

The grand target is set at a staggering 1 billion lights. As the community hits 25%, 50%, and 75% of the goal, Pearl Abyss will release special coupons in sequence. Should the players reach the 100% mark, the rewards escalate to a special buff lasting until July 22, 10,000 Cron Stones, a 7-day Moon Blessed Package, and the permanent title 'We Are The World'.

For your participation, you will receive the 'Token of the Desert Illuminator,' which can be exchanged for a variety of in-game goodies. Available items include a 4,000 Cron Stone bundle, Advice of Valks (+250), Event Destiny Selection Box, Event Shining Memories Weapon & Outfit Box, and a Horse Emblem: Imperial Horse.
