The open-world RPG 'Animmo', first unveiled last June, has finally dropped a fresh trailer showing off some actual gameplay.

In this action RPG, you play as an adventurer traversing the fantasy world of 'Adel Continent' alongside cute creatures known as 'Animmo'. Expect a mix of creature collection, puzzles, and combat. The standout feature is the 'Twine' system, which lets you merge directly with your Animmo to harness special abilities.

The footage kicks off with a mysterious figure clutching a 20-sided object. After performing a ritual to trap what looks like an Animmo soul inside, they flee from our protagonists. With a mysterious mural fading away immediately after, it’s safe to assume the core narrative involves reclaiming these vital Animmo.

The gameplay sequence that follows shows players exploring a vast open world, ranging from lakeside vistas and dense forests to icy tundras. You’ll encounter a variety of Animmo inspired by fairies, bats, and even dinosaurs, and yes, you can use 'Twine' to become these creatures and traverse land, sea, and sky.

The skill variety is certainly eye-catching, too. You can transform into a giant cotton ball to wipe out enemies or unleash area-of-effect lightning attacks through dance. The flashy ultimate ability cutscenes add a bit of visual flair to the proceedings.

We also got a glimpse of 'Astra', the main hub city, which is packed with interactive elements. You can zip around on a hoverboard, stop by an Animmo-run café, or chat up NPCs. There are also roulette and gacha mechanics if you're looking to score some loot.

The development team at Pawprint Studio stated, "This in-game footage marks a crucial milestone in showcasing the immersive open-world experience and the lively interactions with Animmo," adding, "We hope players will enjoy the warm yet dynamic adventure in our upcoming test."

Animmo is currently slated for release on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and mobile, with full cross-play support. Furthermore, Official Websiteis now accepting pre-registrations and sign-ups for the beta test.
