Cyberpunk 2077 has clawed its way back to the top of the sales charts. It seems the latest round of price cuts has had quite the positive impact, hasn't it?

While the average Concurrent Players count on Steam remains steady around the 30,000 mark, we might see that shift once the weekend rolls around.

This isn't the first time Cyberpunk 2077 has dangled a carrot in front of prospective buyers. Since launch, the price has seen consistent reductions, hitting 65% back in April. However, this 70% slash is the deepest we've ever seen, which surely explains the sudden surge in interest.

For the uninitiated, Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world RPG set in the neon-soaked 'Night City'. Early on, it was plagued by performance woes and bugs that left many feeling rather sour, but persistent updates have turned that ship around. By the time 'Phantom Liberty' dropped in September 2023, the consensus was that the game had finally reached its intended state. As of 3 PM on the 19th, it maintains a 'Very Positive' rating on Steam, with 86% of 951,271 user reviews singing its praises.

It’s not just Cyberpunk 2077 making waves; The Witcher 3: Complete Edition has also surged into the rankings with a massive 90% discount. Elsewhere, the newly released 'The Thousand-Year Story of Adventurer Elliot' climbed to 6th place, while Resident Evil 4 bowed out of the rankings as its own sale came to an end.

Looking at the daily peak Concurrent Players, Marvel Rivals hopped up to 14th place following the launch of its summer event, which included some new skins on the 18th. Meanwhile, Warframe has slipped to 20th as the buzz surrounding its 'Jade Shadows' update begins to wane. Cheerio!
