With the Metis Squad—Drake, Laplace, and Maxwell—acting as scouts on a reconnaissance mission, the stream unveiled a flood of upcoming content. The stars of the 2026 swimsuit season are 'Cinderella and Marciana'

The 2026 summer limited-edition Nikke information has been revealed. The characters receiving summer swimsuits are 'Cinderella' and 'Marciana'. They will appear as 'Cinderella: Crystal Wave' and 'Marciana: Marine Study'. Notably, Cinderella: Crystal Wave is the first swimsuit Nikke to feature an interactive touch animation that changes her outfit design, which has already sparked plenty of chatter.

Both characters are set to arrive as Iron-code Burst III dealers. Cinderella wields a machine gun, while Marciana uses a rifle, both optimized for PvE. While detailed skill specs are pending on the official lounge, the community is particularly buzzing about Cinderella—the first Iron-code machine gun user in the Burst III slot. Marciana, meanwhile, is expected to fill a much-needed void in Iron-code team compositions.

The summer event, 'WAVE TO YOU,' follows a graduation trip gone sideways. Marciana, Tia, and Naga find themselves stranded in a mysterious sea, eventually crossing paths with the Old Tales team, who are searching for Hansel and Gretel. Players can roam the event map to scavenge for lost items and dive into the new mini-game, 'ISLAND BREAKER.'

Replacing the usual summer event boss, the Kraken, the new boss 'Island Eater' makes its debut. It is a mutated variant of the Land Eater that takes the shape of an island. It appears to have different patterns from the original Land Eater and is highly likely to return as the Solo Raid boss in July. Furthermore, Little Mermaid, Tia, and Naga are receiving summer costumes. Little Mermaid’s skin will be available via the gacha system, while Tia and Naga's can be obtained through the Event and Monthly Passes.

New Collectibles and Content Additions

Following the summer reveal, the update for July 23 was detailed. The 'Solo Raid Museum Hall Season 3' will feature a trio of familiar faces: the Water-weak 'Harvester,' the Electric-weak 'Crystal Chamber,' and the Iron-weak 'Indivilia.' Players who outdo previous top-tier clear records will be rewarded with an abundance of materials for their collectibles.

Additionally, four new Nikkes—Phantom, Sugar, Rosanna, and Flora—will receive new collectibles. With the exception of Rosanna, these characters have seen little meta-play recently, leaving players eager to see if these upgrades will finally make them viable. As for re-runs, the 2025 summer limited Nikkes, 'Dorothy: Serendipity' and 'Elegg: Boom & Shock,' are making a return. Dorothy is a limited Pilgrim, making her a high-priority pick, while Elegg remains a niche but powerful choice for Water-weak raids.
