This event features top-tier PUBG MOBILE esports teams from both nations. Representing South Korea are the teams that placed 2nd to 9th in the 'PUBG MOBILE PRO SERIES' 2026 Season 1, joined by 8 squads from Japan for a 16-team showdown.

The winner of this tournament earns a spot in the 2026 'PUBG MOBILE World Cup', which is held in conjunction with the Esports World Cup. Nongshim RedForce has already secured a direct qualification by winning the domestic PUBG MOBILE PRO SERIES 2026 Season 1. Korean teams are competing in this event to secure an additional ticket to the global stage.

Notably, this tournament will feature national team players heading to the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games. Three national team members—Park Sang-cheol (FAVIAN), Song Su-an (NolBu), and Jeong Yu-chan (chpz) from Dplus KIA—will participate. They will use this tournament to refine their competitive edge on the international stage as they continue their journey toward winning a medal at the Asian Games.
