To top it off, the developers have ushered in the summer heat with special swimsuit-themed cosmetics and a flurry of events.

First, let us look at the new 'Follower' system, accessible from level 64. You cultivate three Followers: 'Cuthbert', 'Medea', and 'Bormago'. By absorbing these entities, you gain a potent 'Holy Blood' buff for 10 minutes. Followers can be levelled up to 20 using specific 'Stigma' items; as the level rises, so does the efficacy of the Holy Blood items, turning your character into an absolute powerhouse.

The developers have also significantly expanded the competitive scene. The 'Clan Occupation War', running as a pre-season event until September 6, is a seasonal tournament where clans from all servers clash in 1v1 duels. The first clan to hit 10,000 points by seizing altars and slaying neutral monsters takes the victory, earning tiered rewards for the clan vault. Furthermore, the existing 'Skirmish' rewards have been buffed, now offering 'Skirmish Summon Ticket Bundles' and 'Hero T2-T3 Gear Boxes'.

Winning the final match comes with a special perk: the victors receive the 'Triumphal Procession (Costume/Hair)' special cosmetic, complete with unique animations, for 14 days to flaunt their status. Additionally, a new 'Clan Group Chat' feature allows up to six clans to coordinate, which should make for some rather intricate strategizing during large-scale content.

VAMPIR is also leaning into the summer spirit with two new swimsuit-themed cosmetics. The vibrant 'Abyss Temptation' can be snagged by anyone participating in the summer mission event, while 'Secret Summer' is available via a dedicated store package. These special cosmetics include unique emote functions, adding a nice touch for the collectors among you.

Plenty of quality-of-life tweaks and events are also on the table to keep the 'Successors' happy. From July 15 to July 22, a 'Class Change' event with significantly reduced costs is live, supporting skill card grade conversions so you can swap jobs without breaking the bank. For quality-of-life updates, the highlight is the adjustment to the elite dungeon 'Radiant Forbidden Zone'. Participation rewards are now distributed more rationally, triggered at specific HP thresholds of the boss.
