Joycity announced on the 21st that it is launching a collaboration between Gunship Battle: Total Warfare and the animation series Robotech.

This collaboration will be conducted in two campaigns, with the first wave of content available from July 29th to August 26th. Players will experience new gameplay through a dedicated story where they must repair the iconic space fortress SDF-1 and defend against the Zentradi forces.

Additionally, a new shooter mini-game, 'Veritech Interception,' will be introduced for the first time. Players will take direct control of the transforming Veritech Fighter to engage in 1v1 boss battles. The fighter can freely switch between three modes—Fighter, Guardian, and Battloid—to fight against increasingly powerful enemies.

Dedicated jets and squadron skins that capture the charm of the original series will also be added. The game will feature jets based on the legendary units VF-1A, VF-1J, and VF-1S, with the unique characteristics of the original work reflected in the details of the units and skins to enhance the fun of progression.
