I have crunched the numbers for the expected clans, and quite frankly, most of these matchups look like one-sided affairs. Finding clashes with massive point gaps or lopsided records was, disappointingly, all too easy.

General Group Matchup Predictions

Starting with the Diamond tier in the general servers, the groupings for 2 and 4 are eerily similar. The candidate clans in both divisions share the same number of victories and peak win streaks. It is a true crossroads for them. I am personally intrigued to see whether Yeoncha or Romantic Seoul in group 2, and Vamp or We in group 4, can keep their respective momentum alive.

In Diamond 1 and 3, one clan clearly holds the point advantage. Group 1 is looking to break some records; Tangle Cheonha is on a 3-win streak, while Gimyohan Saramdeul is boasting 9. Whoever emerges victorious here will push their personal records to new heights. My money is on Gimyohan Saramdeul, the most decorated clan in the general server.

Moving on to the Platinum tier, which has been split into two charts due to the 10-division headcount. Groups 1, 2, and 5 feature clans with double-digit wins: Gwishin (12), Jeontuminjok (13), and Cheohyeong (11). These are the heavyweights, ranking in the Top 10 for total points across all Vampir general and streamer groups. Their opponents, by contrast, are lagging significantly behind in points, suggesting an uphill battle for the underdogs.

Platinum 3, however, is a bit of a head-scratcher, specifically because of the Kizaya 1 server. There was a discrepancy between the official bracket and the post-match data from last time. The official bracket promised a clash between 'Kedeheon - Ilguyeok - Samguyeok', but the in-game tally showed 'Iguyeok - Ilguyeok - Samguyeok' instead. As I cannot see Kedeheon in the Kizaya 1 roster this time, we will simply have to wait and see what happens.

In the second chart for Vampir Platinum, we see some clans teetering on the edge. Group 7’s Browndust and Pimudeun, alongside Group 10’s Jeoju and Jingun, are in a precarious spot. Having stumbled in the last skirmish, they need a win to secure their Platinum status; a loss likely condemns them to the Gold tier next time. It is a heavy burden to carry. While Seonhanja and Jeongui in Group 8 are in a similar spot, their victory last time provides them a safety net.

Last time in the Vampir Gold tier, we saw a staggering six clans without a single point. That number has dropped to three this time, which suggests several clans have successfully migrated to Platinum. Their spots have been filled by those who have struggled to find a rhythm or have been absent from the winner's circle lately—specifically Royal Family A in Group 1, Seolhwa in Group 4, and Myeolsi and Wolseok.

Among the expected participants in the Gold tier, Seolhwa catches my eye. Since their first win back in February, they have been trading wins and losses like an erratic pendulum. They haven't tasted victory since the first skirmish of June. One has to wonder if they can break the cycle and climb into Platinum this time around.

Streamer Group Matchup Predictions

Finally, let us look at the projected brackets for the Vampir streamer group. The Diamond tier has been condensed into one, while the Platinum tier has expanded to four. In these Platinum groups, the disparity in skill is glaring. Across all four, one clan tends to dominate, creating a dynamic where the lesser-known challengers face off against the titans.

In the Diamond tier, we are likely looking at a showdown between Sashin and Heubhyeoldan. Both are veterans, boasting 17 and 11 wins respectively. Sashin is currently on a 12-win streak, and the question is whether Heubhyeoldan has the grit to stop them. Meanwhile, in the Gold tier, both Bite and Harusari are suffering from a drought of points, having gone four and three matches respectively without a win. It will be interesting to see which of these two finally breaks the dry spell.
