For the first time in 23 years since the base game, a new campaign titled 'Kingdom of the Forsaken', covering the birth of the Undercity, has been added to Warcraft 3. It launched simultaneously with the announcement, so you can dive right in.

Blizzard released the new Warcraft 3: Reforged campaign 'Kingdom of the Forsaken' on September 13 to coincide with the opening ceremony of BlizzCon 2026. Kicking off during the final days of Lordaeron and dealing with the birth of the Undercity, the events depicted here tie directly into World of Warcraft. The playtime spans over 30 hours, and a brand-new prologue covering the twilight of Lordaeron is also included.

Holly Longdale, Executive Producer of World of Warcraft, stated, "New characters will make an appearance, and familiar faces like Sylvanas will also be there." The producer added, "You will use your forces and strategies to truly learn what it means to become the Forsaken."

The new campaign 'Kingdom of the Forsaken' was released on September 13. Alongside this release, Warcraft 3: Reforged is being updated to version 3.0. Improvements include graphics enhancements, a new neutral hero 'Forsaken Paladin', and an overhauled World Editor featuring better lighting and environment systems.
