Smilegate is running a collaboration with Chaos Zero Nightmare (hereafter CZN) in the mobile turn-based RPG 'Epic Seven', developed by Super Creative. From September 17 to October 29, a special side story will be open, and major CZN combatants will appear as Epic Seven heroes.

In the special side story 'A Journey Home', Renoa, Haru, and Meirin from the CZN universe suddenly crash-land into the Orbis world of Epic Seven. The adventure deals with them getting help from Vivian, the ruler of the magical city 'Witchhaven', to return to their original world.

In the first week, Haru and Renoa are released as Epic Seven heroes. Limited hero Haru is a 5-star Ice-element Warrior who boosts ally survivability by granting barriers and indomitability, while delivering an attack that pierces a single enemy's defense.

Renoa is a 5-star Dark-element Ranger hero. Renoa grants the unique effect 'Requiem Bullet' to self to increase speed and critical hit damage, dealing high damage proportional to the number of Requiem Bullets granted. Anyone can obtain Renoa through a special check-in event.

Collaboration commemorative events are also running. The special check-in event gifts the collaboration hero Renoa and growth resources. The 'Witchhaven Daily Epione Center', modeled after CZN's 'Epione Center' system, is also introduced. Individual stories for the collaboration heroes unfold and unique equipment is provided.

Epic Seven's first roguelike content, 'Dimensional Exploration', has also been updated. It is content where players explore unknown areas utilizing multiple heroes. Players must build strategies suited to the situation, such as choosing exploration routes at each crossroads and composing heroes according to the loot effects acquired during exploration. The first season runs against the backdrop of the CZN collaboration, with various themed seasons to be introduced in the future.
