Nexon is opening a trial version of The First Descendant Season 3, 'Breakthrough', which runs until August 7.

Arriving in the August 7 update, 'Breakthrough' features the new 'Axion' region, 8-player field Colossus raids, and the 'Hover Bike' for navigating the terrain.

Specifically, you can choose the new Descendant, Nell, to ride the Hover Bike in Axion, and test your mettle against new monsters like the Abyss Beetle and the fresh Colossus, 'Wallcrasher'.

Nexon is handing out rewards for trial participants, including three types of bike paints, Crystallization Catalysts, 3 million Gold, and 300,000 Kuiper Shards. Completing the trial grants additional goodies: a Crystallization Catalyst, a loot box, a 30% Gold boost (1 hour), and a 30% Descendant EXP boost (1 hour). Filling out the post-play survey will net you yet another Crystallization Catalyst.
