Nexon has rolled out a fresh update for 'The First Descendant,' the looter-shooter developed by its subsidiary, Nexon Games, introducing the new Descendant 'Ultimate Luna'.

Ultimate Luna is a high-performance Descendant who uses music to debuff enemies, reducing their movement speed, defence, and attack power. By utilising exclusive modules such as 'Battlefield Concert' and 'Battlefield Artist,' players can pull off diverse long-range combat styles. The character engages with skills and grappling hooks, even busting a move; the timing of these skills creates various attack combinations for a rather unique experience.

The update also introduces the 'Lounge,' a space where players can interact with their own Descendants and display various collectibles, including companions and hover bikes. The Descendants will strike up conversations, and players can enjoy various interactions such as watching them sit on sofas to play instruments or draw pictures. A feature allowing other players to visit the Lounge is also in the pipeline.

New merchants, 'Collec-T' and 'Eddi-T,' have been added to sell items for your Lounge displays. Players can earn 'Collectable Coins' by completing missions like the 400% Infiltration Operation, Axion Plains missions, and Frontline assignments, which can then be exchanged for various goods.

Furthermore, three new 'Trigger Modules' designed to bolster skills have arrived. These include 'Storm Bullet' for damage-over-time on skill hits, 'Tactical Acceleration' to buff allies when using supply skills, and 'Incendiary Zone' to generate spheres that deal damage upon using grappling skills. These can be hunted down in the Axion Plains.

A new companion, 'Snow Threaddog,' has been added to help recover a Descendant's mental strength, alongside a fresh batch of skins including the 'Early Void Suit' and 'Armor Dox Recon Helmet'.

Moreover, the existing Descendant 'Lepic' has received a performance overhaul. This includes added grenade synergy, boosted attack power for the 'Overclock' skill, improved mobility during long-range engagements, and enhanced area-of-effect and sustained attack capabilities for modification modules.

Nexon is running the 'Sing with Luna' event until 1 October. By completing tasks such as assigning module socket types and acquiring Ultimate Luna, players can earn rewards like 'Photon Activators' and 'Crystallisation Catalysts'. Additionally, the 'Luna's Music Journal' event offers rewards like 'Precision Ion Accelerators' and an 'MC LUNA Name Tag' based on login streaks.
