Wemade is set to officially launch its MMORPG 'Mir M' in China in January 2026. 'Mir M' is a successor to Wemade's 'The Legend of Mir 2'. The title will be released in China under the name 'Mir M: Vanguard and Vagabond'.

The original 'The Legend of Mir 2' recorded a 65% share of the Chinese PC online game market in 2004 and was listed in the Guinness World Records in 2005 with 800,000 concurrent users.

Wemade conducted several pre-launch tests ahead of the official release of 'Mir M' in China. Wemade stated that it has localized the overall content and systems by reflecting user feedback and Chinese market trends. In particular, it maintained the original features such as 8-directional grid combat and a quarter-view perspective.

Core elements such as the combat system, gear progression structure, and UI/UX have been reorganized to suit the local user environment. Iconic elements of the Mir IP were reflected in weapons, costumes, and accessories, and China-exclusive cinematic videos were added.

Wemade opened 'Early Access' servers on the 4th of this month ahead of the official service of 'Mir M'. Players can continue their progress on the Early Access servers without data resets after the official service begins.
