Kakao Games has once again postponed the release dates for its major upcoming titles originally scheduled for this year.

The news was announced during the company’s earnings call on the 11th. A total of four games are affected by this delay: 'Odin Q', 'God Save Birmingham', 'ArcheAge Chronicles', and 'Chrono Odyssey'. Specifically, 'Odin Q' has been pushed to the third quarter, 'ArcheAge Chronicles' and 'God Save Birmingham' to the fourth quarter, and 'Chrono Odyssey' to the first quarter of next year, with each title seeing a one-quarter delay.

Kakao Games CEO Han Sang-woo explained the delay, stating, "This decision was made while considering operational stability, marketing readiness for performance generation, and rational resource allocation as the launch dates approached." He added, "Under a policy that prioritizes polish, we are managing each title to ensure they meet their release schedules in the second half of the year."

Kakao Games previously delayed the release of these four major titles in August of last year. Meanwhile, Kakao Games is set to launch two new titles in the first quarter of this year. Starting with 'SMiniz', a mobile puzzle game featuring SM Entertainment IP, followed by the extraction shooter 'The Cube, Save Us', currently being developed by its subsidiary, XL Games.
