A unique casual battle game where you must 'bark like a dog' to win has been revealed on Steam.

Developer M.Katsu announced that the new battle game 'Bow-wow Battle' will be released on Steam on May 1st. Bow-wow Battle is a casual battle game that utilizes a microphone, where players compete in a 1v1 action game by barking like a dog. By controlling the volume and frequency of your barks, you push a tug-of-war style gauge, and the first player to push their opponent all the way back wins.

Key content in the game includes the story mode 'Dog Road', where you compete to become the strongest dog through eight stages; 'Crab Survival', where you aim for the highest score by blasting away incoming crabs with your barking; and an online multiplayer mode where you can compete against players worldwide. Additionally, for user convenience, it provides a 'Full Bark Control Mode' that allows you to navigate all menus using only your voice without keyboard input. In Full Bark Control Mode, one bark confirms, two barks search, and three barks exit.

The WP earned by winning in the game can be used to unlock new breeds. Furthermore, three random daily challenges are provided each day to earn additional WP. A system is also introduced where you can earn breed-specific titles such as 'Shiba Master' or 'Corgi Legend' by accumulating wins with specific breeds like Shiba Inu or Corgi.

Furthermore, future updates will introduce additional breeds such as Pugs, Huskies, and Dobermans, and add a six-tier ranking system. The addition of new background stages, Steam achievements, and background music and sound effects has also been announced. The developer stated, "We plan to expand content and improve the system based on player feedback during the Early Access period."

Bow-wow Battle will be released first as an Early Access title on Steam and does not support the Korean language.
