Cygames announced on the 20th that 'Beita' has emerged victorious in the Shadowverse Korea Open 2026 Season 1 (SKO 2026 Season 1), the official esports tournament for Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond. The main event and finals, featuring eight qualifiers, took place behind closed doors on the 19th.

With this win, Beita takes home a prize of 10 million KRW and a ticket to the international stage as Korea's representative. The SKO 2026 Season 1 matches were broadcast live on the official Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond YouTube channel and the Cygames official Chzzk channel. The quarter-finals featured intense clashes between 'Beita' and 'Nistia', 'Omega' and 'Misari', 'Kokona-dan' and 'GodRelD', and 'Flower' versus 'Japangi', showcasing a high level of tactical deck-building.

In the first semi-final match, Beita defeated Omega after a strategic battle, while in the second match, Japangi secured a spot in the finals after a close encounter with Kokona-dan. The final showdown between Beita and Japangi was a display of stable operation and strategy, with Beita ultimately triumphing with a set score of 2-1.

Reflecting on the win, Beita said, "I've waited a long time for this victory, so I'm thrilled to finally see it bear fruit." He added, "Being a Shadowverse pro is an honor, especially knowing so many of you are watching. While there were some aspects of today's performance I'm not entirely satisfied with, I will continue to work hard to show even better results in the future."

Meanwhile, Beita will head to Japan this December to represent Korea at the 'Shadowverse World Grand Prix 2026'. The champion of that tournament will compete for a grand prize of 100 million JPY (approximately 935 million KRW).
