Com2uS announced on August 3 that it has rolled out a fresh update for Ace Fishing. This patch introduces the Mediterranean, a brand-new region within the Lunarium World, alongside an increased maximum level cap for accessories and a handful of system tweaks and events.

First up, the Mediterranean—the latest addition to the Lunarium World mode—boasts a rather gorgeous and exotic vibe. Players can cast their lines up to 300 times a day across the entire Lunarium.

On top of that, the maximum accessory level has been bumped up from 2,100 to 2,400, giving character progression a bit more depth. You can push up to level 2,200 using existing materials, but reaching that elusive 2,400 milestone requires leveling agents like Pearl Crystals, plus limit-break goodies such as Black Opals and Pitch-Black Fins. You can scavenge all three of these items in the Lunarium Amazon and the newly added Mediterranean area.

The badge dismantling system has also received a quality-of-life overhaul. Without having to evolve badges separately, hitting certain thresholds via badge point dismantling guarantees you some Diamonds. Com2uS has also kindly bumped the maximum batch-dismantling capacity to 120 badges, while color-coding badge option grades with stars and tiers so you can actually read what you own at a glance.

We also have the grand opening of Sector 8, a new PvP event where up to eight players pit their pure fishing skills against each other under identical gear and conditions. Plus, there is a shiny new top-tier pearl called the Purple-Black Pearl, which grants four accessory stats as exclusive options and can be nurtured using dedicated materials like the Black Label Growth Ticket and Aurora Pearl.

To celebrate the update, Com2uS is throwing a bunch of progression-boosting events for you. Until 3 PM on August 10, the "Seize the chance to master engravings and fishing techniques!" event will crank up success rates for tier 1 and 2 engravings while offering juicy cost-cut discounts. Following that, until noon on August 28, the "Return of the Nine-Tail and the Golden Whale!" event will let you reel in plenty of goodies. Adieu for now, mate!
