Netmarble is set to unveil new footage of its upcoming action RPG, The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin (developed by Netmarble F&C), during the Gamescom 2025 prelude showcase, 'Opening Night Live'.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin is an open-world action RPG based on The Seven Deadly Sins IP, which has surpassed 55 million copies in cumulative global sales. The game features Tristan, the son of the original protagonists Meliodas and Elizabeth, and explores an original multiverse story. It is slated for a simultaneous release on PS5, PC (Steam), and mobile platforms.

Netmarble F&C Producer Koo Do-hyung stated, "Our goal for The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin was to craft a world where players can freely explore the land of Britannia and truly immerse themselves in its tale." He added, "By weaving a multiverse narrative that gathers characters and stories from the original series, we aimed to deliver an experience that feels both familiar and refreshingly new. Furthermore, we introduced combat styles never seen in the original series to highlight new dimensions of each character."

The Gamescom Opening Night Live presentation will feature a cinematic trailer showcasing the world and action of The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin, alongside new information. This follows the trailers shared back in June at Summer Game Fest and the Future Games Show.
