Look, we all remember Palworld, a title so wildly popular that it spawned a deluge of dodgy mobile knock-offs. Now, a rather familiar-looking imposter has quietly snuck onto the Nintendo Switch and the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2.

Palland, an action-adventure title, graced the My Nintendo Store on 30 July. You can pick it up for 13,990 KRW, though do keep in mind that Korean language support is nowhere to be found. The download clocks in at a modest 1.5GB.

According to the official store description, players start at a humble base, scavenging for resources, expanding their territory, and battling wild beasts in a sprawling, perilous environment. You will need to juggle survival mechanics like health, hunger, and energy, alongside a series of quests to keep you occupied.

Finding official gameplay footage is like looking for a needle in a haystack. However, based on user-uploaded YouTube clips, the graphics, mechanics, and overall polish are, to put it mildly, rather crude. Every resource shatters with a single swing of a pickaxe, and every enemy falls after one strike. The buildings, weapons, and assets look like they were plucked straight from an asset store.

The developer behind Palland, Boggysoft, has been busy this year churning out titles that look suspiciously like clones of Only Up, Lethal Company, and Thief Simulator on the Nintendo Store. While their take on Lethal Company, titled 'Lethal Horror', was eventually yanked from the store, the rest of the collection remains available for purchase.
