Steam has launched a new sale event themed around third-person shooters.

Valve announced that the Steam TPS Fest will run from the 26th to the 2nd. This sale event is exclusive to shooters that primarily utilize a third-person perspective, whether they involve firing bullets, water, or cupcakes. For games that support both first-person and third-person perspectives, they can only participate in the event corresponding to the perspective most commonly used by players. Consequently, games that participated in the FPS Fest are excluded from this event.

Key discounted titles include The Last of Us Part II Remastered (20% off), The Last of Us Part I (50% off), Control Ultimate Edition (90% off), Star Wars Outlaws (55% off), Tom Clancy's The Division 2 (80% off), Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint (90% off), Sniper Elite 5 (80% off), and Risk of Rain 2 (67% off). A dedicated space has also been opened to showcase upcoming titles such as Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater and Arc Raiders.

To celebrate the TPS Fest, Steam is distributing free items in the Points Shop, including an animated avatar, an avatar frame, and three animated stickers.

Meanwhile, Valve announced that following the TPS Fest, the Political Simulation Fest will begin on the 9th, followed by the 2025 Steam Autumn Sale on September 30th. The Steam Next Fest: October 2025 Edition will then commence on October 14th.
