Shift Up has delivered a robust performance for the third quarter of this year, buoyed by a notable revenue surge from Goddess of Victory: NIKKE and Stellar Blade.

Shift Up released its Q3 financial results on the 11th. For the third quarter, the company clocked in revenue of 75.5 billion KRW and an operating profit of 49.6 billion KRW. That is a 30.1% increase in revenue and a 39.3% jump in operating profit compared to the same period last year.

Breaking down the Q3 revenue by title, both Goddess of Victory: NIKKE and Stellar Blade outperformed their year-ago figures. Goddess of Victory: NIKKE contributed 44.5 billion KRW—a 29.9% year-on-year increase—while Stellar Blade pulled in 27.7 billion KRW, up by 22.6%.

Regarding Goddess of Victory: NIKKE, Shift Up noted that "the summer and bunny girl events held in July and September kept the MAU (Monthly Active Users) flow solid," helping the game secure the top spot on the iOS revenue charts in Japan and second in Korea. As for the Chinese market, where traffic has dipped, the company is attempting a recovery through collaborations like NieR: Automata, alongside their summer and bunny girl events.

On the front of Stellar Blade, the PC version on Steam has maintained steady sales momentum even four months after launch, while the PS5 version benefited from promotions like the PlayStation Summer Sale in July. Shift Up commented that "the combined sales of PC and PS5 versions are meeting internal expectations."

Looking ahead to Q4, Shift Up remains focused on Goddess of Victory: NIKKE and Stellar Blade. Goddess of Victory: NIKKE has winter and New Year events lined up, while Stellar Blade is slated to participate in seasonal and holiday promotional events, with further platform expansion currently under consideration. Finally, the subculture-themed new title, 'Project Spirit', is in development with a target release date set for after 2027.
