NetEase Games and its subsidiary Everstone Studio have announced that pre-downloads for their wuxia open-world action adventure RPG, 'Where Winds Meet', begin on the 13th.

Where Winds Meet has garnered significant attention, surpassing 10 million global pre-registrations ahead of its launch. Through this pre-download, users can install the client in advance to start playing immediately upon the official release scheduled for the 15th.

Where Winds Meet is a large-scale open-world action RPG based on a traditional wuxia worldview, where players can freely explore regions where history and legend intersect, such as 'Qinghe' and 'Kaifeng'. With the city of Kaifeng featuring over 10,000 living NPCs, 1,200 types of artifacts, and a real-time combat system, the game aims to deliver a realistic oriental fantasy experience.

Another core feature is the freedom to combine weapons and martial arts. Players can craft their own combat style using not only traditional weapons like swords and spears but also stylish wuxia items such as umbrellas and fans. The action choreography is directed by Tung Wai, a four-time winner of the Hong Kong Film Award for Best Action Choreography.

The development team has officially committed to a 'non-P2W' structure starting from the official launch version, with plans to provide all new content for free. The design ensures that all players can grow freely and fully enjoy the story and exploration in an equal environment. Following the launch, new adventures will continue through seasonal updates. The first season, 'Trial of the Sword', will expand the main story and add new combat challenges and regions.

After the official launch, a 'Welcome Gift' will be provided to users who log in, and 10 pre-registered players will be selected via a lucky draw to receive prizes worth a total of $2,000 (approximately 2.9 million KRW).
