Niantic announced on the 13th that it is adding the new monster 'Riftborn Diablos' to its real-world hunting game, Monster Hunter Now. Additionally, the company revealed that an event commemorating the update will be held starting on the 19th.

This update introduces new weapon crafting and style enhancements using Diablos materials. The new weapons that can be crafted with Diablos materials include Sword & Shield, Great Sword, Lance, and Gunlance, all of which boast high non-elemental attack power. A key feature is the 'Adrenaline' skill, which increases attack power in critical situations.

Furthermore, a 'Heavy Bowgun' style enhancement feature is being added. Hunters can now choose between 'Guard Reload,' which allows reloading while guarding, and 'Crouching Shot,' which enables firing more ammo, significantly widening tactical choices in combat.

Meanwhile, Niantic will host a commemorative event from the 19th to the 25th. During this period, the spawn rates of large monsters such as Diablos, Tigrex subspecies, Goss Harag, Lunagaron, and Deviljho will increase, and the appearance frequency of the Elder Dragon Kushala Daora will rise in Elder Dragon Interceptions. Various benefits will be provided during the event, including increased material drops from basic reward slots when completing Hunt-a-thons and Elder Dragon Interceptions.
