Nexon updated Blue Archive on the 13th, adding a new event story and introducing two new characters.

The event story, 'We are the Occult Research Club! ~Academy Mysteries and Ancient Spells~', features the debut of Wildhunt Art Academy. It follows students of the Occult Research Club—Eri, Kanoe, and Rena—as they investigate various ghost stories and pursue their own dreams.

By completing stories and missions, players can obtain event-exclusive currency such as Kanoe’s Hot Chocolate, Tsumugi’s Sheet Music, and Rena’s Ball of Yarn. These can be exchanged at the event shop for various tiers of Tactical Training BD (Wildhunt), Tech Notes (Wildhunt), and Kimbaya Relic Shards. Players can also use Eri’s Tarot Cards to participate in a Dice Race, earning Pyroxenes based on the number of completions.

Additionally, Eri and Kanoe from Wildhunt Art Academy have been introduced. Eri, the president of the Occult Research Club, is a Vibration-type dealer. When using her EX skill, she deals massive damage to a single enemy, and if she possesses two charges of Mana, the skill is enhanced to deal additional damage. Kanoe is a Mystic-type tank; her EX skill removes at least one status effect and provides continuous healing based on her healing power, allowing for stable combat.

To celebrate the update, Nexon is running the 'Waraku Festival Special Promotion Campaign' as a permanent guide mission. Players can access these missions after receiving the final reward from the Foreclosure Task Force Night Emergency Meeting and clearing 'Normal 2-3'. Completing the daily tasks provides various tiers of Tech Notes (Hyakkiyako) and Tactical Training BD (Hyakkiyako).
