Lilith Games announced that its open-world idle RPG 'AFK Journey' will be rebranded as 'AFK Journey - Healing Farm' starting January 30. The game, serviced by Farlight Games, will introduce new healing-focused content centered around the player's territory.

This update expands the gameplay experience by adding estate-based healing content. Lilith Games stated that while it will continue to refine combat and progression systems through 2026, it plans to shift the game's core focus toward territory management and life-simulation gameplay based on the 'Healing Farm'.

The new season update is set at the Lyceum Magic Academy and includes a story involving the investigation of a mysterious incident that occurred during a magic festival. New heroes include the returning AFK IP hero 'Solis, Flower of Whispers' and the new Celestial hero 'Arora, Dreamweaver'. By participating in seasonal content, users can obtain the new hero Arora up to Champion+ rank for free, along with over 420 summoning opportunities and more than 80,000 diamonds.

The territory system has also been revamped. New story and seasonal content are linked to the territory system, creating a structure that combines combat-based progression with life-simulation healing content. The development team designed the territory development process as core content to provide users with long-term motivation to play.

A Lilith Games representative stated, "This update is a pivotal turning point that elevates the AFK Journey experience to the next level," adding, "We aimed to create a world where combat, growth, and relaxation coexist naturally. We want to provide a space where users can return to find comfort amidst their busy adventures, creating a game where players feel a deeper sense of belonging and satisfaction the longer they play."
