The Pokémon Company announced on the 6th that it is holding a 'Hoppip's Fluff Collection' event to commemorate the official launch of its slow-life sandbox game, Pokémon Pokopia. The game was officially released on March 5th exclusively for the Nintendo Switch 2. The Pokémon Company planned and developed this game in collaboration with Game Freak and Koei Tecmo Games.

Pokémon Pokopia is set in a desolate village, where players take on the role of a Ditto that has transformed into a human, experiencing life alongside Pokémon. In the game, players learn Pokémon moves, craft tools and furniture using various materials, and decorate the village. Additionally, players can enjoy a relaxed daily life by changing hairstyles and outfits, visiting other players' villages, and taking commemorative photos with their Pokémon.

Meanwhile, an introductory video featuring the game's story and gameplay methods has been released on the official YouTube channel. Pokémon Pokopia can be played immediately via digital download or physical version (key card). All users who purchase the digital or physical version by January 31st, 2027, will receive a 'Ditto Rug' to decorate their in-game home.
