Look, let's be honest about celebrating gaming culture on the streets. The game culture festival 'GXG 2026 (Game culture X Generation 2026)', scheduled to take place around the Pangyo Station plaza from September 11 to 12, is ready to showcase a rich array of cosplay contents.

Even citizens encountering cosplay for the very first time can enjoy the event without feeling pressured, thanks to costume-wearing experiences, artwork and prop exhibitions, and a market featuring professional cosplayers and creators. You can even participate wearing your own prepared costumes.

At the GXG Costume Experience Zone, you can try on cosplay outfits directly. Capture the moment with professional photographer shoots and AI retouching, while also having fun with face painting and tattoo stickers.

Over at the GXG Costume Gallery | Smilegate × RZCOS, you can check out Lost Ark costumes, weapons, and props. The exhibition features various characters brought to life from the game, ranging from Esthers to Legion Commanders.

There is also a Creator Market run by professional cosplayers and creators. At the Epic Seven × Illustar Fest Petit Market, you can discover a variety of creative works utilizing the Epic Seven IP.

Creator booths themed around Epic Seven, alongside cosplay booths participated in by professional cosplay teams A-CROWN, CSL, and Illustar Partners, are all set up for visitors.

On September 12 at the Central Plaza Main Stage, the finals for the Korean subculture contest's 'Cosplay Dance' category will take place, accompanied by showcases from indie idol groups formed by influencers such as 'MURO', 'Idol Collection', and 'Yoishoi'. Former Valorant pro gamer turned artist 'Kkotgami' will also put on Kkotgami's Game Music LIVE.

GXG 2026 is hosted by Seongnam City and organized by the Seongnam Industry Promotion Agency and the Game Culture Foundation. Under the slogan 'Enjoy games as culture,' it presents performances, exhibitions, hands-on experiences, and cosplay.
