Pearl Abyss’ Crimson Desert has officially snagged the 'Players' Choice Winner' title for March 2026’s Top New Game on PlayStation. The game climbed to the top spot following a community vote hosted by the PlayStation Blog, which highlights the most intriguing releases each month.

The PlayStation Blog runs these polls to gauge player sentiment on the latest titles. In this particular showdown, Crimson Desert managed to outpace stiff competition like 'Marathon', 'MLB The Show 26', and 'Scott Pilgrim EX', securing the highest number of votes from the player base.

Crimson Desert has been flying off the shelves since day one. It shifted 2 million units on its launch day alone, hitting 3 million by day four and smashing through the 4 million mark in just 12 days. According to the number crunchers at Alinea Analytics, the game pulled in an estimated 300 billion KRW in revenue over its first fortnight.
