The Busan Esports Arena has been selected as a 2026 excellent institution under the 'Education Donation Career Experience Certification' program hosted by the Ministry of Education.

The Education Donation Career Experience Certification is a system that evaluates and certifies institutions providing free career experience programs for elementary, middle, and high school students. This year, out of 2,730 institutions nationwide, about ten were selected per region, and the Busan Esports Arena was named an excellent public institution in the Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam area.

Since the Busan Esports Arena was first certified as an education donation career experience institution in 2023, the Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency has been operating esports-based career programs for local youth. To date, approximately 1,200 students have participated, and the agency is currently conducting the 'Dream-Dams Career Experience Program' in partnership with the Busan Metropolitan City Office of Education.

The agency has worked to expand the foundation of youth career education by building collaborative networks with career support centers across 16 districts and counties in Busan, and continues to provide tailored support in cooperation with the Busanjin-gu Career Support Center. It also operates specialized programs for special education classes and initiatives linked with international schools.

The Busan Esports Arena's career experience program is characterized by hands-on job training utilizing the arena's actual facilities and professional equipment. Participants can experience various esports roles, including pro-gamer, coach, broadcast production (PD, CG, observer), commentator, and caster. Alongside this, the program provides theoretical education on the overall esports industry and game literacy.

Kim Tae-yeol, President of the Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency, stated, "Esports is a culture that youth are familiar with and a new career field connected to future industries. We will further strengthen the professionalism and public nature of our programs so that the Busan Esports Arena can firmly establish itself as a hub for experience-centered career education."
