Next up are the event rewards. As of June 26, 2026, there are 5 pieces available through events. If you participated in the pre-registration event before the Asian server launch, you might have already secured the 'Northern Reins' and 'Northern Saddle,' making your journey to the goal much simpler.

Snag 2 pieces via mount collection.

Much like tack, collecting mounts also yields rewards. By collecting just 2 mounts, you can earn 5 pieces of tack. While gathering 15 mounts grants another 5, that path requires spending, so we shall skip it for now.

Snag 5 pieces via achievements.

You can add 5 more pieces by grinding out in-game achievements. First, the 'Together Everywhere' achievement requires you to ride your mount 10,000 times for 2 pieces of tack. Then, move 500,000m in-game to complete 'One More Step' for 3 additional pieces. Truth be told, this is the most time-consuming method on our list.

Snag 9 pieces via Maester’s Archive rewards.

The 'Maester’s Archive' is a core collection feature that dishes out 9 pieces of tack. Restoring 'Lost Letters' grants 2 pieces per region, totaling 6. Following that, by collecting 'Gold Ore, Silver Ore, Iron Ore, and Coal Ore,' you can add one more per region for a total of 3.

Craft 6 pieces at the Artisan's Workshop.

In Game of Thrones: Kingsroad, you hunt 'Rare Wildlife' and 'Rare Monsters' to gather crafting materials, which can be taken to Artisan NPCs in major territories to forge gear. Join or create an 'Alliance'—the game’s guild system—to access the Alliance Shop. Here, you can buy 'Dark Green Mount Gear Boxes' to get 5 pieces of tack. You will need 'Alliance Tokens,' which are earned through donations or completing alliance missions.

Purchase 15 pieces at Regional Coin Shops.

Repeating regional content rewards you with Regional Coins. You can exchange these for mount gear boxes to collect 15 pieces of tack. Each region requires 2,400 coins; check the list below for details.

Purchase 5 pieces at the Expedition Honor Point Shop.

‘Beyond the Wall’ rewards you with weekly pass points based on your performance. 'Honor Points' are a specific currency used for unique items. To grab the tack, you need to purchase the 'City Watch Mount Gear Box,' which will set you back 3,000 Honor Points.
