On 14 July, 'Arthdal Chronicles: Three Factions' (hereinafter Arthdal Chronicles) opened its new region, 'New World', alongside a suite of system overhauls. The update introduces a new synthesis support system and adjusts awakening success rates to a guaranteed 100%, aiming to improve player convenience.

The new 'New World' region arrives with a promise to ease the burden of monetization. The fresh servers—'Leo', 'Bella', 'Pavo', and 'Ara'—shun the usual parade of intrusive package deals, limiting purchases to passes and subscription models. Even costumes are restricted, available only via specific currency or silver coins. These servers are slated to merge into a single 'New World (Crabon)' region down the line.

A new auxiliary item, 'Energy of Synthesis', has been introduced to soften the blow when synthesis fails for Spirits, Mounts, Weapon Appearances, or Dream Stones. Players can utilize this item to nudge their success rates higher. Furthermore, the developer plans to retroactively distribute the 'Energy of Synthesis' on 16 July for all synthesis failures recorded prior to this update.

The developer is sweeping away the old notoriety-related stats, replacing them entirely with 'Max HP' stats. This change applies across the board, from equipment tempering and stone tablets to Spirits and Mounts. Note that for crafting, since Max HP already exists as an option, the notoriety-related stats are simply being removed.

Beyond the polish, there is fresh content to sink your teeth into. The wandering boss 'Varan' now haunts the 5th Corps of the Dark Room daily at 14:00 and 19:30, offering 'Dark Room 5th Corps Treasure Chests' based on contribution. Additionally, the awakening cap for Spirits and Mounts has been pushed to level 3, complete with new tier-3 effects. With the awakening success rate now set to 100%, players can expect 'Awakening Tokens' to compensate for prior attempts, with distribution scheduled for 20 July.

Players reaching level 90 will unlock the third page of the Dream Stone, 'Desire of Lawlessness'. To keep the momentum going, a login event is handing out 'DIY Re-synthesis Tickets', allowing players to take another crack at synthesizing Spirits and Mounts.
