On the 21st, Nexon announced the addition of a new event story, 'Kivotos Unconfirmed Mystery', to Blue Archive, along with the update of two new characters. This update follows the story of students searching for a mysterious creature known as the 'Tsuchinoko'.

The new event story, 'Kivotos Unconfirmed Mystery', depicts the process of students including Konoka, Rena, and Tsubasa solving mysterious incidents that occur while searching for the legendary creature, Tsuchinoko. Users can obtain exclusive event currencies such as the Suspicious Magazine, Suspicious Health Product, and Suspicious Amulet by completing stories and missions.

The acquired currency can be exchanged at the event shop for various items, including Tactical Training BDs, Tech Notes, and the 'Artist's Mind'. Completing high-difficulty challenge stages provides 30 Pyroxene per stage, and clearing the final Challenge EX area rewards players with five pieces of the Secret Tech Sheet.

The new characters added are Konoka from Valkyrie Police School and Rena from Wild Hunt Art Academy. Konoka is a Mystic-type tank character equipped with an EX skill that deals damage to enemies in a fan-shaped area and restores a portion of her health when hit. Rena is an Explosive-type supporter character who uses an EX skill to remove debuffs from one ally (excluding herself) and increase their defense. Rena also boosts the Critical Damage and Attack of Special students, aiding in strategic combat.

Meanwhile, Nexon is recruiting participants for the 5th Anniversary Festival's fan art booths via its official website until July 26th. This creator booth event will be held under the themes of 'Gratitude' and 'Gifts', and participants must choose one of the two themes to present their works and merchandise. Participation applications will undergo a planning review, and final participants will be notified individually after the selection process.
