Whether it is mounts, weapon appearances, or active skill accuracy, fulfilling specific conditions unlocks various buffs. Furthermore, certain effects excel in PvP, inflicting bonus damage, debuffs, or even stunning opponents.

Q. Which Kumdol set should be completed first?
A. The versatile 'Sun·Star' set is your top priority. Alternatively, the 'Wind·Cloud' set comes highly recommended.

First, take a look at your set options. If you are a lower-level player still rocking Rare-grade gear, you might want to hold off; proper set effects are exclusive to Hero-grade or higher. I suggest waiting until you pass level 80, when the next Kumdol page unlocks, before diving into your build.

There are nine set options for Hero-grade Kumdol or higher. If you value versatility across all content, 'Sun·Star' is the undisputed king. The 'Sun' component grants a shield and damage reduction, while the 'Star' component deals heavy damage and increases damage taken by the target. It is a staple for PvP, grinding, bosses, and the Tower of Challenge.

The 'Wind' and 'Cloud' sets follow a similar logic. They stack buffs for attack speed, skill speed, movement speed, overall damage, crit rate, and crit damage, effectively boosting your character's base stats. Unlike other sets, these have no internal cooldown, meaning you can keep the stacks up as long as you are in combat. Do note, however, that the 'Cloud' effect can occasionally drop if you miss a back attack.

Q. Are there sets tailored for specific environments?
A. For survival, go with 'Moon·Tree'; for PvP chaos, try 'Lightning'; and for hunting in the 5th Island, 'Fire' is your best bet.

Beyond the aforementioned sets, the remaining options are niche. Still, they have their uses if your goal is clear. If survival is your priority, look at 'Moon·Tree'. 'Moon' heals a small amount of HP when struck and boosts skill damage reduction. 'Tree' provides a 15-second damage reduction buff and increases healing received, but only when your HP is below 50%. Both have low uptime and are strictly for survival, making them less ideal for general use.

The 'Lightning' set is useful in PvP, offering a 15% chance to stun enemies for 3 seconds upon a successful basic attack. While lower on the priority list, the 'Water' set can improve healing output. If you are looking to contribute more to your party or alliance, it is worth considering.

Finally, 'Fire' is exceptionally efficient for your future ventures into the 'Dark Night 5th Island'. At the Legendary grade, it has a 30% chance to trigger upon being hit. Given that all monsters in the 5th Island are aggressive, the uptime is incredible. With a short 10-second cooldown and easy-to-maintain 3-stack buffs, you benefit from a 9% skill damage increase and 6% cooldown reduction simultaneously. Here is the summary:

Even if you get lucky and have the chance to synthesise Legendary Kumdol, prioritize completing your Hero-grade set first. Settling for two types of Rare/Hero-grade set options is often the smarter play.

If you have six Hero-grade Kumdol that do not match in symbols or shapes, use the 'Change' function. Navigate to 'Kumdol - Change' and use Rare Kumdol fragments as materials. Once you have six Hero-grade Kumdol and two active set options, you can start synthesising the rest to hunt for Legendary pieces.
