[Guild Interview] A miracle created by two people! SKRB 'Churyeok'
Look, let's be honest, it is time for another guild interview where we meet up with tenacious adventurers in Seven Knights Re:BIRTH. Now, guilds formed through the bonds of the original series often share a rather distinct trait: they start out huge. You see dozens of players jumping in together, sometimes even splitting into two separate guilds right off the bat because there are more than 30 members. But the Thrust guild we are looking at today? Completely the opposite. Just two people banded together to create this guild, and through sheer, agonizing effort, they built it into what you see now. Let us hear their rather cheeky growth story, shall we?
From Two Players to Thirty! Meet the Thrust Guild

Q. Could you give us a brief introduction to the guild?
A. Cheers! Thrust was formed to cherish the memories of the old Thrust guild that operated on the Chris server in the original Seven Knights. We have set our sights high, aiming for top 150 in guild wars, top 50 in the Descent Expedition, and within the top 30 in siege battles.
Q. What is the creation history of the Thrust guild?

A. Well, the whole thing started with just two people. PC1computer and Jjiba happened to start Seven Knights Re:BIRTH together by sheer coincidence. Eventually, PC1computer got properly hooked on the game and joined a top-tier guild, dragging Jjiba along for the ride. The trouble was that the guild's entry barrier was quite steep. Jjiba could not meet the minimum requirements and had to leave, which led to the classic thought: 'Sod it, let us just make our own guild.' And that is how Thrust was born.
At first, Jjiba had to grind multiple accounts solo just to raise the guild level. Then PC1computer jumped back in, and the pair of them pushed hard, grinding 10 guild daily quests each every single day with the ultimate goal of hitting guild level 10. PC1computer must have been proper busy dealing with childcare back then, so they really deserve a massive pat on the back for all that graft.
It started as a proper shambles of a two-person outfit, but after a while, brilliant guild members who recognized our efforts started rolling in. With dependable mates bolstering our ranks, things finally stabilized, and thanks to everyone following along so well, we actually look like a proper, functioning guild now—which is why we are dead chuffed to do this interview!
Q. Where does the guild name come from?
A. There is no overly profound meaning behind it, to be honest. But ending it there would be a bit dull, so our resident engineering students, researchers, and developers chimed in to give it some scientific flair. We tied it to the concept of Thrust defined in Newton's laws of motion. You could interpret it rather grandly as overcoming the realistic obstacles hindering our guild's growth and rocketing past them at high speed. In truth, Thrust started out as a minor league outfit that could not even dream of breaking into the Destroyer ranks, yet look how far we have come.
Q. What are your main selling points for recruitment?

A. We heavily lean into our meticulous guild management and top-tier ranker members. For PvP, we boast city server champions and upper-tier arena rankers. On the PvE side, we have folks cracking individual rankings for the Destroyer and siege battles. Thanks to these specialists, members can pick up plenty of valuable knowledge across pretty much any aspect of the game.
Q. What is the true charm of the Thrust guild?
A. The Guild Master possesses a split personality straight out of a demonic military drill instructor. If a guild member participates in guild wars five times or more, they get showered with public praise and shout-outs in the open chat. But if someone messes up? Oh mate, dreadful punishments await. You have to write your name with your bottom and send proof, write an apology letter and have your spouse inspect it, or play rock-paper-scissors against a mirror and actually win. Proper grueling missions, let me tell you.
Actually, the Guild Master is simply the strongest fighter in our roster for Seven Knights Re:BIRTH. Especially if a season rolls around where we fail to secure the legendary tier in total war, the Guild Master fully expects to cop all sorts of abuse from the members and step down in shame.Looks like it might be my turn to take the flak this time, though. (Laughs) Better find at least one more person to force into playing mirror rock-paper-scissors before I get demoted!
Q. What kind of new recruits are you looking for?
A. What the community calls 'having good sense and sharp execution'. We prefer quick-witted folks. Currently, our entry requirements demand a combined score of over 40 million across three Destroyer attempts and a solid grasp of guild war mechanics. And of course, anyone bursting with passion for Seven Knights Re:BIRTH content is always welcome.
If someone does their own homework first and asks informed questions, it creates proper synergy for the person answering. But turning up and demanding spoon-feeding without putting in an ounce of effort? Absolutely impossible to deal with. Even when you explain things to folks like that, they rarely grasp it, so we prefer to steer clear.
Guild wars are like UFC, and the Descent Expedition is pure WWE!
Q. What is your strategic approach to the Descent Expedition?

A. Because Thrust tends to focus heavily on the guild war meta, we used to neglect the Destroyer boss a bit. Compared to guild wars, though, the Destroyer feels like a relatively less congested niche market. That allows us to invest our resources efficiently and realistically aim for top 50 rewards.
Instead of rigidly following some grand external guide, our approach was simply to hype up the members who were already doing brilliantly. We spotlighted Destroyer achievements in our open chat and fostered a genuinely fun atmosphere. Naturally, everyone felt motivated to tackle the content voluntarily.
Lately, we burn through the Old Four Lords quickly just to squeeze out an extra Destroyer entry ticket. We wipe out all the Old Four Lords by day three of the season and dive straight into the Destroyer on day four. From there, we lock down reliable tactics to secure a baseline score before chasing higher numbers with riskier, high-stakes builds. Not long ago, they introduced the Destroyer sweep system, right? Well, Thrust members can just forget about that. There is no Destroyer sweep function for us!
Q. Are there any particular PvE highlights you keep an eye on?
A. Guild wars can get a tiny bit tense during the final rounds, but we always enjoy PvE in a cracking, upbeat mood. Most of us just use sweeps for siege battles so we do not stress over them too much, though our skilled members still manage to sneak into the individual rank lists. Naturally, the least we can do as a guild is shine a spotlight on their graft.
The Destroyer mode often sees massive gaps in internal rankings due to tiny margins, so we turned that into an opportunity to banter and wind each other up. It creates a delightfully playful competitive environment that everyone can enjoy.
Q. Do you pay special attention to any particular day of the siege battles?

A. By now, top-tier rewards for siege battles are pretty much a given for any decent guild. The newly introduced individual achievement rewards actually carry far more weight than guild-wide bonuses anyway. So we do not obsess over specific days; hitting the rankings feels more like collecting honorary bragging rights at this point.
On that note, Thrust actually made an appearance in a serialized guild ranking article recently. We also got a shout-out in the Weekly Forum Highlight when we secured our promotion to the major leagues. Between this interview and past mentions, it feels proper brilliant to get some spotlight at the right time!
Q. Out of the original five Seven Knights, which one is the absolute pick for Thrust members?

A. We had all sorts of opinions tossed around, from Gelidus for raw power to Jupy for pure affection. But using my executive privileges as Guild Master, I am pushing for 'Pai'. After all, I am the proud owner of a 9-transcendence Pai!
Q. What are your thoughts on the recently released legendary heroes?
A. We have had some seriously beefy heroes drop back-to-back recently. The Korean-themed heroes 'Seonlan, Dongyeong, Yungeon, and Hayeon' boast performance that speaks for itself. Among them, Dongyeong deserves a special mention for making the water element dungeon an absolute breeze.
As for the Demon Slayer collaboration heroes, it is a bit early to give a definitive verdict. However, they will almost certainly put in a shift in guild wars for a good while. With two more heroes left to drop in the second wave, we will just have to keep a close eye on how the meta shifts.
Q. How is Thrust currently handling guild wars, and what is your policy?
A. We share status updates via open chat announcements, and our management member Kanam handles the guild war spreadsheets. We even built a custom open chat bot linked to it, keeping our focus squarely on real-time status sharing for maximum efficiency. We give it absolute bollocks every single round, though our tactical focus leans slightly more toward the later rounds.
Q. Does Thrust have a secret joker pick for guild wars?
A. It is technically a joker pick, but then again, maybe it is not. It is simply Yungeon, a hero everyone loves to use. They are basically an invasive species wreaking havoc on the ecosystem, making them the most sought-after meta pick for guild wars.
Q. Any memorable guild war moments or anecdotes?
A. We occasionally run into former guild members during guild wars. Back when our headcount was under ten, we had this rather eccentric member. They were an absolute die-hard offensive deck purist—to the point where they treated 'Evan' not as an offensive team hero, but as fodder material. They insisted on running exclusively offensive decks and fed away essential heroes simply because they did not fit that single playstyle.
Q. How was the upper-tier arena '4v4 mode' season for you?

A. Frankly, with things like the accessories ban rule, we were hoping they would just stick to the classic rules. Still, the 4v4 arena introduced just enough of a twist to keep things interesting. Players who grasped the meta quickly managed to pull off better results than usual, and we even managed to hold the number one spot midway through the season.
Q. Are you enjoying the 'Real-time Arena' mode?
A. The general consensus is that once you grind your way to 6,500 points, you can safely wash your hands of it and call it a day. It felt largely pointless because anyone with too much spare time could just spam matches indefinitely to inflate their rank. Starting late meant facing opponents with ridiculous gear discrepancies, and players pointed out plenty of other unfair quirks as well. Hopefully, the massive system overhaul this season means we can finally give it a proper evaluation.
Maintaining a stable ranking spot is the ultimate goal for Thrust!
Q. Are there any specific guild members you want to introduce and brag about?

A. Our PvE boss 'Noeryu', PvP boss 'Garairii', and recruitment boss 'Jeuni' are the shining faces of Thrust. The management crew, affectionately known as the 'Rooftop Squad', have all worked their socks off.
Q. What are the future goals for the Thrust guild?
A. Above all, maintaining stable placements in competitive content is our top priority. We aim to break into the top 150 of the guild war major league and the top 50 of the Descent Expedition, and successfully hold our ground there.
Q. Are you planning any offline gatherings?
A. We would love to get everyone together if the right opportunity pops up. If someone with a bit of drive kicks off the planning, it might actually happen sooner than you think, right?
Q. Anything you wish to see improved in Seven Knights Re:BIRTH?
A. We have had a succession of extremely overpowered heroes dropped on us lately. It honestly brings back worrisome memories of the original game's balance issues. We just hope the developers put a bit more careful thought into power scaling before pushing out awakenings and new heroes.
Q. Any final words for the guild members?

A. Love every single one of you, our brilliant Thrust family!

A. 반갑습니다!
